Gameweek > Lockout
- Lockout is the period during which your fantasy game is to remain locked out (frozen), so no further changes/updates can be made to the fantasy teams by the end users;
- During the lockout period, the platform is in 'View Only' mode, whereby users can only view your team and not be able to make any edit/updates;
- Every fantasy game MUST have/has it's own lockout period;
- This is the time period during which game admins (and scorers) enter and update the scores for the matches played by their club/league teams during that lockout period;
- The scores can only be entered for matches (fixtures) that were created and added into the game before the start of that lockout period.
Things to consider before setting your lockout period
- The duration when your teams play their matches in the week;
- The start time of the first match played by one of your teams;
- By when would you be able to enter and update the scores for each of the match played by your teams during the lockout period;
- Example: The lockout period is usually set to last for the next 3-4 days, to allow the clubs or leagues game admin to be able to enter the scores to update their fantasy game.
- Score entries and updates are to be performed by the respective Game Admins (or Scorers).
