Example Explained for a Lockout Period, Match Scores and Player.

ABC Cricket Club has 3 teams at the club, who play matches each weekend (Saturdays) between October and March.

  • Season Start Date / End Date
    • Start: Saturday, October 10 2020
    • End: Tuesday, March 31 2020
  • Grades:
    • Grade A, Grade B, Grade C
  • Teams:
    • ABC 1st X1 (Mens), ABC 2nd X1 (Mens), ABC Vets 40s (Veterans)
  • Fixtures:
    • ABC 1st X1 plays 2-Day and 1-Day games on Saturdays;
    • ABC 2nd X1 plays 1-Day games on Saturdays;
    • ABC Vets 40s plays 1-Day games on Sundays.
  • Lockout:
    • Lockout Start Day: Saturday
    • Lockout Start Time: 12.00pm (on Saturday)
    • Lockout End Day: Wednesday
    • Lockout End Time: 6.00pm

Looking at the above example, the fantasy game will have it's first lockout on Saturday, October 10 2020 at 12.00pm, at which time the game will go into lockdown mode and none of the users would be able to make any changes/updates to their fantasy teams.

All 3 teams of the club will play their matches (as per fixtures) over the weekend.

Once these matches have completed, the game admin (and scorers) can now enter the squad for each match and the scores for the matches (by going to the match fixtures created before the start of this lockout period).

Note: If the match fixture shell was not created before the start of the lockout period, you would not be able to enter the scores for that match in the game. A fixture shell must be created before the start of the lockout period in which that match is to be played.
